I stayed here so I didn't have to drive home after walking up to Kosciusko. I'd done it before and thought it would be nice to chill in Thredbo for the night. I got the hotel room at a good price. Everything is perfectly ok if it meets your expectations. I can imagine the dated decor may not be to taste or lack of lift slightly annoying, but once you realise how close the other amenities are in Thredbo, this is a good place to stay

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. Rooms good for mountain village standard. Well-maintained and the staff were all most helpful.. Excellent breakfast but at least in summer the restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday,,and the bar is not open, with a sign referring you to the adjacent pub. Excellently located in the centre of the village, with all facilities within a couple of minutes walk
