Ever feel like the snow is a bit daunting? Want to learn where the best runs on the mountain are? Feel like some company rather than skiing alone?

You're in luck! Thredbo Toyota Mountain Hosts are here to help.

The Toyota Mountain Hosts run free tours of the mountain between July and September, meeting at the top of the Gunbarrel Express Chairlift daily at 11am.

All you need is a valid lift ticket, and be of intermediate experience on the slopes.

The hosts will show you secrets such as the Waimea run, a wave-like trail which catches the snow perfectly, and they will tell you stories about other runs such as Stanley's, an out of bounds area that is known only to the locals.

The Toyota Mountain Hosts are here to help you have a great time on the slopes in Thredbo.

Kay, one of the Toyota Mountain Hosts, says she loves the job as she gets to show people new territory, and she knows the trails well.

Kay suggests the Funnel Web, as the best black diamond run as she likes the length. She also suggests trying the Waimea run, down onto Valley View and then onto Dream Run as a great long blue run.
