"The season is due to officially start on Saturday the 12th of June and although it's a long way away, to me the charts are indicating snowfalls around the 5th-8th, so fingers crossed we get a snowy start to season 2010. Looking to specific dates any further than that becomes a bit hard but I can say that June and July are pointing towards being wetter than normal with El Nino weakening. I see snowfalls mixed in with some showers over the first few weeks of June before the temps drop slightly at the end June and we start to see colder nights and the likelihood of heavier snowfalls increase dramatically in early July. I think July could one of the best for some time. "

It's that time of year again, Thredbo has seen its first snow shower, Perisher Blue has released its new Annual Super Pass (which might I add, includes access to Mt Hotham and Falls Creeks) and all my snow gear has been dragged out from under my bed and scattered around the house ready for another fun filled Australian winter.
